My boys! ......and guess who rolled over?

Matt and Ian were playing. Matt was acting like Ian. I thought it was cute!
Ian rolled over by himself Monday, November the 9th, just days after he turned 5 months old.

Look at the camera. Say hi to mommy.
The keys in this picture have been taken away due to Ian smacking his head multiple time with them.
Too funny!

Halloween

My Ian monkey.

My brother's Dog even dressed up.

My brother's girls Jazmin and Mariah with Ian.

Mariah was a mermaid.....pretty cool, huh?

A bunch of the cousins. Kaiden, Matt, and Chandler are sitting above the girls.

Matt was a zombie.

Taylor lit up in the dark.

We still don't know what Taylor was suppose to be.

But she looked cute.

Weekend at Grammy's

Aunt Bek, Rylie, and Natty came from Seattle.
Aaron and Rylie riding on the "fast" speed on the tractor.

Ian's first ride on a tractor. Farmer Ian.... I think I could make a song.

Matt got his first tractor ride.

This is scary. I am so brave to post this. Taylor thought it would be fun to give me a makeover. I think she was the only one that liked it.

Spit wads

Thump. Thump. Thump, thump. Finally the noise got my attention. I was sitting at a red light talking on my cell phone to my hubby, when I looked over to see wads of paper towels stuck to the window of my car. Sick! I look over at the car to my left and sure enough, the teenagers are sitting looking straight ahead...as if they didn't do anything. But one girl gave it away, she was SMILING from ear to ear. I couldn't really get mad because, the Lord knows I did stupid things when I was a teenager for a good laugh too.

But I was just so flustered already. I am trying to coupon my groceries. What a nightmare! I had just been to Albertson's. That store is a rip off! With my coupons, I was suppose to get cereal for 20 cents, 67 cents, and the highest price was 88 cents. Yah, that didn't work out too well. Their cereal that wasn't on sale was like $5 a box. Yikes! I kept walking around the store trying to find the deals. In the meantime, Aaron is busy watching the baby and I want to hurry home. So I just keep getting more frustrated. Well it turns out I was able is to get my cereal for $1.17 a box, which is still good, but it was disappointing when I thought my coupons were going to get me a much better deal.

My frustration is what lead me to calling my husband on the phone on my drive home. I was so flustered. And then the spit wads set my over the top. At the next stop light, I saw some of the traffic moving and so I started to go too. Luckily someone honked their horn at me. I looked up just time to slam on my brakes! The light was still red on my side. I only got a couple of feet, I stopped right in the cross walk. Lovely! I was so embarrassed. So I asked Aaron if he would come outside and hose off my car for me. My sweet husband took care of it without hesitation. I spared you all the grossness of taking a picture. So you'll just have to trust me on this one.

Ian's 4 month checkup

Ian is a healthy, little 4 month old. He weighed 15 lbs. 15 oz. (71% percentile). He was 26 inches long (85% percentile). And his head was 42 1/2 cm (56% percentile). He hasn't rolled over yet but that is normal. He loves to eat his hands or have the occasional thumb. And sleeping through the night....well, that hasn't been working out too well. He sleeps from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. and then he is up anywhere from 2 to 4 more times after 1 a.m. So I am extremely sleepy. If anything in this blog doesn't make sense, blame it on the lack of sleep!

Rice Cereal

This is a happy moment!

Not sure what to think!

Mom, you truly are the best!

He started kicking and moving, he was excited!

Stuffed!

The V-toe

We love Ian's feet. They are so cute. He spreads his toes apart to create the v-toe. Yes he has many talents.

Ian freshened up to go to church.

Daddy gets to feed the baby.

Now this is what I call taking a bath with a rubber ducky!

Ian's First

Usually when a baby hits a milestone, it is a exciting moment. Well Ian hit a milestone today. But I am not happy. Today when I went to drop him off to daycare, he cried. He was watching me the whole time. So I stopped and came back to him, which made him stop crying. But as soon as I went to leave again, he cried. Aw! That breaks your heart and I am not having a good day.

Giggles in the Night

My little Ian loves the thrill of bouncing or swinging. It is so much fun for him. He will let out big squeals and smile so big from ear to ear. It is so dang cute! So I was surprised to wake up at 3:30 a.m. to hear those same squeals coming from his bedroom. I keep hearing, "aaAAWWww", "wwwWWWAAAahh". It was so loud and frequent that his giggles woke up Aaron too! We both just laid awake listening and laughing at our little bundle of joy. After about 10 minutes, I decided to go take a peek. When he saw me he gave me a big smile and was kicking his legs. What a doll! I couldn't help myself. I had to pick him up. What a wonderful boy! We are so blessed to have such a fun kid.

Crazy Hair Day

It was crazy hair day at Taylor's school. After failing to create a long haired mohawk with tons of gel and the clothes iron.....Taylor decided to fluff her hair into a huge puff ball. Having naturally curly hair came in handy. You can tell she loved getting her picture taken. This picture was taken after school, her hair looked more tamed by then.

BR vs. Minico

Saturday we went to Pocatello to watch Aaron's brother, Shad play his football game. Well the great thing about this game is that it was my school against Aaron's school. The kids came but they wanted to sit on the Bear River side with their Aunt. But I felt I should sit on the Minico side, so I could chat with Aaron's parents, since we don't get to see them a lot. It was so awkward. I would cheer when Bear River would score. Oh well. I cheered for Shad when he did something good. The first half Minico was winning and Aaron rubbed it in. He would look at me and do the "Loser sign" and what not. So in the second half when Bear River spanked them, I of course used his same sign language. Hah! Victory feels so good. But his family was pretty depressed after their loss, so it ruined my victory. I ran into a few people I know. One was my workout instructor from my old gym. She is teaching at the new Gold's Gym and really wants me to join. And my ex-sister-in-law, Rhi, is working in Logan now, so we are going to try to find time to workout together. We used to go to the gym on Saturdays together before I moved to Logan. I hope I can find time to workout, cause I love it! But with my work schedule and having a family, I might have to get up at 4:30 a.m. to workout. Yikes! And I don't know if I can do THAT!

Ian's 2 month appt

I don't have a scanner, so I used my redneck skills and took a pic of his pictures!!!

I couldn't wait to find out how much Ian weighs. So I had Matt stand of the scale. Next I had him stand on the scale holding Ian. And there was a 13 lb difference. We were pretty close. The doctor's scale put him at 13 lbs 5 oz. and he measured 24 inches. It is easy to remember because he has gained "4" and grown "4" since his birth. We also had his tongue clipped. The bottom of his tongue was attached close to his teeth. So he really couldn't stick out his tongue. I thought I would freak out when they clipped it, but he handled it fairly well. Phew! For my sake and his! He didn't love his shots though. He cried so hard (my other kids cried for a minute and then seemed normal). But Ian wouldn't stop crying until the doctor walked out and I could quickly pull out my milk jug. I love my little guy so much. He is so smiley all the time. When he smiles at me it just melts me and I feel like a million bucks. Ian has really brought so much joy to my soul. I really needed that. I hope his pictures will bring a little joy to your souls too.

Back to Work

Well I have been back to work for 1 week now, and I sure missed my work friends. It is nice to have a job I love. And I work with the best people. I really love my kids and I dearly loved my summer with them. I felt closer to them and I felt more in tune with what each one needed. Or at least I tried. I go pick up my baby on my lunch break and then we go home and see Tay and Matt. So that has helped me feel okay about being back to work. Also, Aaron gets off work earlier than I do. That makes me feel better too. I don't like daycare. It is not a bad thing, I just want to raise my kid my way. But there is one problem....I am so tired! Up with baby in the night and then I have to wake up at 5:00 a.m. for work. Ugh! It is really catching up to me. I miss sleep. But I love my baby and getting up with him is well worth it!

So many things

Taylor and me during my time off from work.

I don't have the internet at home....so my posts have been low while I was on maternity leave. I am offically back to work. I miss my baby today. I miss his smile. Here is an update on what has been going on during my time off. Taylor and Matt had a bunch of track meets. They did really well. They both did well enough to make it the district meet. And Taylor made it to state in the softball throw and the relay race. Matt made it to state in his relay race. But Matt's teammates couldn't make the trip to Richfield. So he didn't get to participate. Taylor got 2nd place at State in the softball throw and her relay team took 3rd. The funny thing is that there were only 4 relay teams and one of them got disqualified. So 3rd was by default. Matt had his 10th birthday. He had a swimming party in our backyard. I bought a $100 pool for the kids this summer. It is not very deep...only 2 ft. So it is not great but it has brought all the neighborhood to our house. Taylor went to YW camp in Heber City. We went to a family reunion. We went to Island Park and Yellowstone with all of my family. It was so fun! But most everyone came back sick. It was either a bug, food poisoning, or bad water. We also had Ian's baby blessing. It was given by his grandpa, Randy. It was beautiful. The kids just left for San Diego. They are going to a comic book convention....Cosmicon or something like that. And the rest of our days were playing with the baby, having family over, going to the library, or shopping.
