He's crawling

Ian starting crawling on Thursday. I thought it was so cute at first, but then it wasn't very cute anymore. He was into everything. It made me laugh though when he crawled under the bar stool and then he couldn't get back out. He is also teething on the top gums. It looks like the top four teeth are all going to come in at the same time. The outer teeth right next to the top front teeth might even come in slightly faster because they broke through first.

Feeling the Spirit

I normally wouldn't blog about moments so special that could be mocked or discredited but I really wanted to because I love the savior so much. I have been lucky in my life to develop a relationship with my savior. This came by studying his life and having a great appreciation and love for all he has done. I love goodness in people. I love people loving people. I always appreciate when I am loved. It gives me strength and hope to move forward. We all need to love as the savior taught by example. I try to emulate the savior's love. I am not perfect at it and haven't been good at it for the last little while. I used to like walking around on campus and try to be christ-like. I would smile at everyone and hope that I could emulate the savior. I am a dork, I know. I loved, loved, loved conference Easter weekend. The talks touched me personally. I think these talks and fasting (well not a true fast) prepared me to feel the spirit at church this last sunday. It has been a few years since I have felt the spirit burning in my heart. I love that feeling and never want it to leave, but it always does. I was so happy to feel the spirit again! I have been longing for it. I know god live and loves us. I am sad because my children have told me they have never had that feeling. I pray and hope that they will be blessed with that testimony some day.

Easter

Cute Pictures.....no they're not of me, maybe next time

Here are the two front teeth pictures I promised.
Don't you love his big boy hair do???

Daddy bought his air Jordan outfit a year ago...it finally fits!

Aaron will be mad that I posted this, but it was so cute, I couldn't help myself!

All slicked up

Baby Animal Days

My 3 little bears! Ggrrrrr
Pappa Bear
The pony

Ian loved pulling the rabbit's ear

Baby bear......aw!

Ian loved the baby bears. So did I. I wanted to hold them so bad. They were like little babies. They loved being held and if they weren't being held they'd climb up their instructors leg. So cute!

9 month checkup

I am so worried about Ian because at his 9 month checkup he hadn't gained any weight. He is only in the 12th percentile for his weight. He is in the 84th percentile for his height. I don't think anything is wrong with my milk or anything like that, I think he has a small appetite. We are lucky to get him to drink 4 or 5 ozs of milk at a time. He should be drinking at least 6 ozs at each feeding. Plus, he only eats about a half of a jar of baby food at at time. He has been eating the same amount for probably the last four months. I think the kids has to start eating more so he can gain some chubbies.

April Fools

When you can't go into work on April 1st because your baby is running a fever, just know that your co-workers have a lot of time to construct April fool's jokes and this is what you get........

I love to play jokes on people at work, especially on April fools. I have put "Use other door" signs up on all the doors, I have rigged chairs to practically collapse when sat on, I have left messages for people to call a number (a morg.) and ask for "Myra Maines", I've turned up the volume on peoples' phones and speakers to the max, and on and on. I really had it coming to me.
So this April fools I hadn't pranked anyone all day. Remember Ian was sick. So finally at the end of the night, I got Aaron's toothbrush ready for him. I never do that, so that should have been a sign. I used baby's Oragel (the gum numbing gel) on Aaron's toothbrush. It was really funny because he paused in the middle of brushing his teeth and said he had this weird numbing feeling. I laughed my head off and he just kind of shrugged his shoulders, like oh well when I told him what I did. He isn't that fun to prank.
I really love pranks. My friend's dad used to play the best pranks on his kids for April fools. One year he sewed the kids into their beds. How does one do that you ask? Well he snuck in while they slept and sewed their pajamas to their sheets. Too funny! They couldn't get out of bed. I love it! By the way, if anyone knows, is it spelled "sewed" or "sowed"?
